Recursive Nameservers

ACOnet provides recursive nameservers for participants who do not operate their own DNS service.

These two ACOnet Nameserver are:

• nsr1.aco.net
• 193.170.140.196
• 2001:628:101:2::1:53
• nsr2.aco.net
• 193.170.140.131
• 2001:628:101:1::1:53

To use this service please note the following requirements:

• The organization has to be an ACOnet participant
• There must be a reasonable need for the service
• The access is limited to the participant's network

We want to point out that the IP addresses of the offered recursive nameservers could change. Please note this detail for client configuration.
