NetNews Service

Distribution of net-news for all ACOnet customers by providing a central newsserver at the University of Vienna and by providing net-news-feeds. Customers with own news servers can get complete news-feeds or load news effectively to their news servers using news sucking. ACOnet customers with no own news servers can read news from a central news server at the Vienna University, named ACONews.univie.ac.at, and also post news using this server. An organization participating in ACOnet can also define local newsgroups on ACONews.univie.ac.at to which only members of this organization have access.
