TLS/SSL Server-Certificates
TERENA (www.terena.org), the association of european national research and education networks (often referred to as NRENs), has signed a contract with GlobalSign (www.globalsign.net) about the creation, administration and distribution of SSL Server-Certificates.
ACOnet has been active in this effort from the very beginning and therefore is able to provide its members with an unlimited number of server certificates. This service is offered exclusively for ACOnet's customer organisations and is free of charge.
Before requesting certificates, customers have to sign an additional contract beneath.
