Access to the ACOnet web portal is gained either via a personal institutional account (for ACOnet Identity Federation / eduID.at members) or via a personal institutional e-mail address (with a password of own choice, specific for the ACOnet web portal). Both variants are hereinafter referred to as "portal account". 2. All information provided via the ACOnet web portal is to be treated confidentially. Data may only be passed on to third parties with the explicit consent of the respective originator or rights holder. 3. Accessing the ACOnet web portal from insecure devices is strongly discouraged. This applies in particular to access from Internet cafes, public kiosks, third-party computers (or accounts) and other devices for which there remains a risk of exposing the ACOnet web portal to unauthorized access after the portal account owner has ended using it. The portal account owner is solely responsible for any misuse of his/her data and the data of the respective participating organization(s) managed on the ACOnet web portal that may result from accessing the ACOnet web portal from insecure devices. 4. The portal account owner is obliged to inform the web portal operator (webmaster@aco.net) immediately of any possible breach of security/rights and not to exploit it under any circumstances. Furthermore, should the portal account owner have any suspicion that his/her own, or another account has been misused or breached, he/she should contact the web portal operator (webmaster@aco.net). 5. All organizational changes which necessitate a restriction or termination of access rights granted to a portal account require the portal account owner to notify the web portal operator (webmaster@aco.net) immediately and unrequested. 6. The portal account owner acknowledges that even on suspicion of misuse of the portal account, or at the request of an authorized signatory of the respective participating organization, the portal account may be (partially) blocked without warning. 7. All correspondence regarding the use of the ACOnet web portal should be conducted via the e-mail address . In urgent cases, the phone number +43 1 4277-14030 may also be used.
