As part of the platform renewal of the Vienna Internet eXchange, which was successfully completed on 18 May 2021, the bandwidth of the ACOnet connection to the VIX has also been increased to 2x100 Gbps.
As a successor and extension to GÉANT's IaaS framework agreements, a public cloud framework agreement portfolio is now available again under the name "2020 IaaS+ Framework Agreement".
The ACOnet backbone has recently been equipped with even stronger external uplinks: We have doubled the connection to our upstream provider Hurricane Electric to 20 Gbps and the bandwidth of the fiber triangle Bratislava-Brno-Vienna to 40 Gbps. The connection to the Vienna Internet eXchange has been increased to 2x30 (previously 2x20) Gbps.
