GovIX & GovDNS

GovIX (Government Internet eXchange) is a specialised IP peering service for public administration institutions in Austria. It is operated by ACOnet in coordination with the Federal Chancellery of Austria (BKA) and is supported by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), the City of Vienna (MA 01) and the State Governments of Upper Austria and Tyrol.

GovDNS (Government Domain Name System) is an autonomous DNS which is offered in the context of the GovIX for domains under .at.
