Upgrade of Internet Connections

From February to April 2024, we successively upgraded all connections of the ACOnet backbone to the global Internet (both the two Vienna upstreams and the backup upstream in Salzburg). This means we now also have a consistent bandwidth of 100 Gbps in this area, which further increases the DDoS resilience of our backbone.
