Emergency Website
The 'Emergency Website' service enables all ACOnet participants to create static HTML pages on a web server operated by ACOnet.
For example, if a participating organization experiences a power or network outage, it can redirect its web presence to the emergency website by changing a single DNS record. Thus, customers and staff can access information even during maintenance or in an emergency.

Emergency Name Service
We strongly recommend using ACOdns Primary as an emergency name service in addition to the emergency website. In the event of a prolonged or widespread outage, your own name service will also be affected. With the emergency name service, your own domain remains editable, which is essential for the 'Emergency Website' service.
